Living Peace in Pandemic Times – 2020

I have long shared my personal video reflections on my You Tube channel. You can now find an hour long online retreat there called Living Peace in Pandemic Times. This video is adapted from a virtual retreat I led via zoom on May 20, 2020 for the Peace and Spirituality Center, a sponsored ministry of my religious community.

My hope is that this online retreat will offer an opportunity for reflection during confusing times. Think of it as a chance to be with God, to be present in this moment, to experience some peace. I share some insights from scripture and from great hearts and minds like Parker Palmer, Thomas Merton, Monica Sharma, and of course Pope Francis. I also offer the fruits of my own prayer these days, including some of my contemplative photography. The retreat also includes music by Carrie Newcomer, Audrey Assad, and Secret Garden. You can easily make the retreat on your own, or you might want to invite a group to make the retreat together and incorporate time for faith sharing. It’s up to you!
